For those
of you from the
past, that have left
us your Sit Rip and those that have just wandered in…
` We have salvaged the Old Guest-book and that information has become these pieces of the Commo Dump.
Not
because we think of it as trash…
Quite
the contrary my friends! We got visited
by many Veterans who really liked the Bunkers and sent many of their friends to visit them. We liked that!
We also
have had many more Veterans that have found their Buddies that they haven’t seen since serving, and we felt “Justified”
to have had SOME
IMPACT on Brother
Veterans lives. We appreciated that too!
( In fact, I found our Point-man from my own Bunkers and eventually got him to send us over eighty slides
that he had taken of us while we served in 1968. Those we were able to use in the
new Writing s of our Future Bunkers. )
We got lots of
input from the general
public that just
wanted to see what it was like
for a young Boy to serve in a war Zone at such a young age. That made us think about what MORE to tell
someone about such an uncommon experience, that they might take away with them after having been to these
pages. That’s why they have been re-Newed and re_vamped.
And so we have saved these past
documents for others to view and we would HOPE
that Future
Veterans, Family, and those that just wander in will also in-script
a passage into …

left 12/31/70. They assigned me to the HHC 3/319, attached to 1st bat 173rd.
The first place was Thuy Hoa, as an LNO. The next place they sent me was Phu My
in a TOC. I spent time in and around English, Uplift, lz Orange, and places
that I just can't remember.
